Dear arts organisations vlog | 20% off The RITP pre-orders
Plus... I start my journey west for Perth Fest
Dear arts organisations (and everybody else)
In less than a week, last month’s letter to arts (and other) organisations about the intersection of arts and human rights advocacy became my most-read post of the last year. Grateful for all those stepping up, speaking up and engaging with these issues in impassioned, compassionate and meaningful ways.
Here’s a six-ish minute summary of the letter with some of my thoughts about risk and reputation management, crisis communications and duty of care.
These vlogs are usually exclusively for my Patreon followers. Shout out and gratitude to June, Sheridan and the TNA team for joining Team Patreon over the last couple of months.
20% pre-orders of The RITP
With less than a month until the 1 March launch of The Relationship is the Project, you can now get 20% off pre-orders from the New South Publishing website.
Trust me, it’ll be worth it to hold this deliciously chonky repository of wisdom in your hands. And watch this space for launch details coming soon.
Heading west for Perth Fest
This week, I started my journey west for my Tiny Little Digital Poetry workshop at Perth Festival at the end of this month.
Now I’m busy prepping my lesson plan about the immediacy, politics and possibilities of digital poetry. Grateful to be able to point to powerful, of-the-moment examples from Omar Sakr, Rupi Kaur and Rafaat Alareer (even as we mourn his horrific loss - vale vale vale).
